Le’Veon Bell Early Favorite to Win NFL Rushing Title

NFL Props:  Le’Veon Bell favored to win NFL Rushing Title

Since the Pittsburgh Steelers drafted Le’Veon Bell in the second round of the 2013 NFL draft, he’s been a stud – albeit, when he’s healthy and/or not suspended. Bell has appeared in only 18 regular season games over the past two years. That’s what makes it a bit of a surprise he is the pre-season favorite at +300 to lead the NFL in rushing yards this year.

Granted, Le’Veon Bell has averaged 4.9 yards per carry during the previous two seasons, but, did we mention he’s only played in 18 total games the past two years? And, so far this year, he’s been a holdout from mini-camp.
Regardless, when healthy, Bell is a reliable workhorse and the Steelers offense scores a lot of points. He is justified as the early favorite to lead the NFL in total rushing yards. Check out more NFL props here.

RB Ezekiel Elliott of the Dallas Cowboys is the second favorite at +350. One advantage Bell has over Elliott is he’s not wrapped up in any court cases (that we know of). Elliott amassed an incredible 1,631 rushing yards in his 2016 rookie campaign. Elliott is in jeopardy of missing week 1 of the NFL Season (or longer) as he’s under league investigation for a 2016 domestic incident.

Rounding out the top three is the Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson at +1000. He could be the most reliable play as he receives a lot of touches and is a huge part of the Cardinals offense. Head coach Bruce Arians already stated he wants to give David Johnson 30+ looks a game this year. Although some of those looks will be passes, Johnson should still amass a solid rushing total.

NFL Picks: Tom Brady is the early favorite to win his third NFL MVP Award

You would think winning the NFL’s regular season MVP is a good thing…right? Well, not if you’d rather win the Super Bowl in the same year. Tom Brady is on a mission to win both the regular season MVP and SuperBowl MVP this year.  The last time this was accomplished was in 1999, when Kurt Warner of the St. Louis Rams hoisted both trophies at the end of the season.

Tom Brady of the New England Patriots has won the NFL MVP two times – 2007 & 2010. He is one of only two players to win 5 Super Bowl rings. (Defensive player Charles Haley being the other) Brady is hoping to accomplish Warner’s 1999 feat this year as he heads into the NFL Season as the favorite to win the regular season MVP.

Brady is the +450 favorite to win this year’s NFL MVP award on many of your favorite betting sites. He’s hoping he and his teammates can continue to ride the momentum from their unbelievable come from behind victory against the Falcons in last year’s Super Bowl.

Even though Brady missed the first four games of the 2016 season, he didn’t skip a beat by turning in one of the best statistical seasons of his career. His 28/2 TD/INT ratio and a 112.2 passer rating was the second best of his career – trailing only his 117.2 rating during his MVP 2007 season.

Additional NFL Picks have Green Bay Packers signal caller, Aaron Rodgers (last year’s MVP favorite) as the second favorite this year at +700. Like Brady, Rodgers also has two NFL MVP awards (2011 & 2014).
Other QB’s heading into the season as potential favorites include: Derek Carr, Oakland Raiders +900, Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys +1200, Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks +1200.

Last year’s winner Matt Ryan of the Atlanta Falcons is +1600 and hopes to bounce back after giving up a 25 point lead in last year’s Superbowl.

The Chargers have struggled on the road in recent weeks, and traveling to Baltimore will be no easy task.  The Ravens strong defense should keep QB Phillip Rivers and RB Ryan Mathews in check.

NFL Picks for Week 12

Detroit Lions (7-3) at New England Patriots (8-2)  Free NFL Picks for Week 12  11/23/2014

Latest Odds:  New England -7.5   Over/Under 48.5

The Detroit Lions head east to Gillette Stadium with hopes of slowing down QB Tom Brady and the Patriots high powered offense.  The Lions entered the season also expecting their offense to put up a lot of points.  However, injuries to WR Calvin Johnson and RB Reggie Bush have slowed them down.  They have been winning games thanks to their defense.

The Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski has been a beast the past few weeks.  Add a hot RB Jonas Gray to the mix, and the Patriots seem to be unstoppable.  They should win at home this week, but the Lions defense should keep it low scoring.

Recent Betting Trends:

Detroit is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-8)  at Chicago Bears (4-6)  Free NFL Picks for Week 12  11/23/2014

Latest Odds:  Bears -5.5    Over/Under 46

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head to Soldier Field to take on the Chicago Bears.  Both teams are coming off solid wins last weekend.  The 4-6 Bears held off the Vikings 21-13 and recorded their first home win since Week 14 of last season.

The 2-8 Bucs ended their 5-game losing streak by easily taking care of the Washington Redskins last weekend 27-7.  Rookie WR Mike Evans had another huge game as he totaled  209 yards and two TDs.

The Bears have a better running and passing game than the Redskins, so they should be able to put up enough points to pull this one out.
